ND is sticking to their story that Manti is a victim and not involved in the hoax. This is actually quite sad and definitely cruel.

Whomever responsible, if this was a hoax, needs to be prosecuted and I will be disappointed if they end up as reality TV show stars instead.

He just mentioned motive?

He makes some good points he forgot just a twisted joke on the part of whomever did it if it is a hoax. I am not sure.

But Mantai is seriously dense to fall for this over an extended period of time and Manti did say she "was the prettiest girl" he had ever seen, etc. etc. and maybe he was tricked by another picture. If Tao did it to get publicity he should be prosecuted for sheer stupidity amongst other things.

No one is that dumb.

IMHO--With their own network contract, and image and history dating back to Rockne, and all the NC trophies--they can stay where they are and everyone will continue to stand in line to nominate them for the sainted school of college football.

The SEC would devour them until they learned how to extricate their heads from down under and learn how to compete with the big boys in THE CONFERENCE. Bama really undressed them and then the Manti Te'o nonsense confirms their plight.
