I agree with the call. The rule isn't the ground can't cause the ball to move. He had control and his hand underneath the ball.

Take a closer look. Can't say conclusively that any part of that ball touched the ground. Looks like his hand may have been resting under ball when it moved.

His hand was under the ball and he had control. Whether or not some part of the ball hit the ground and squirmed is irrelevant

The ball moved but he had control before it touched the ground, and then moved again after it came off of the ground. The call would have stood whichever way it was called on the field.
