Obama has a history of tolerating anti-semites.....how far will he go with this one? Will he give tanks and war planes to the man who now heads that country?

Nearly three years ago, a leader of the Muslim Brotherhood delivered a speech urging Egyptians to “nurse our children and our grandchildren on hatred” for Jews and Zionists. In a television interview around that time, the same leader described Zionists as “these bloodsuckers who attack the Palestinians, these warmongers, the descendants of apes and pigs.”

That leader, Mohamed Morsi, is now president of Egypt — and his comments may be coming back to haunt him

Last I read---we were not giving Saudi 1 billion in aid, or giving them free weapon systems....two things obama seems most eager to do----while embracing a man who holds vile thoughts about million of american jews......didn't bother him much for 20 years when his preacher said these things either....doesnt seem to bother him much now.

I guess it is asking too much to ask him to denounce these words before giving him free killing machines and a billion dollars in aid.....

I guess the MORE you renounce jews, the more tanks Obama will give you.

Why would Obama give 200 tanks to a nation on the border of a jewish israel? whose military leader slurs jews on TV???

I have NO issue with critics of ISRAEL and israeli policy.

This is not about that.

this is about HATRED of JEWS.

This is similar to Hagel---who talks about intimidating Jewish lobby...that has the stink of anti-semitism.

Now--there is a LARGE israeli lobby...there is also a larger farm lobby, and gun lobby, and medicare lobby, etc etc.

No it's not. It's about Zionism. Regular Jews who are openly anti-Zionist are welcome throughout the Middle East. It's Zionist Jews and their fanatical supporters that are the threat, not just to the Middle East, but to America as well. The so-called "Jewish lobby" is really a "Zionist lobby", and any sensible person should oppose their efforts.

Maybe one day you'll learn the difference between the two and it will sink in.

As with Mubarak, we are buying influence in Egypt and - among other things - trying to keep them from attacking Israel. We first made - that is, bought - that deal with Sadat and hope to keep it going another 30 years. It is in the larger interest of Israel. Could it backfire? Yeah, but not likely. Meanwhile the Saudis are the ones keeping their distance from us, not visa versa.

Get off it with Hagel. He made one comment that was maybe mispoken - or not. The term has been used by Jews here and in Israel as well. Hagel has been supported by his home and state rabbis and temples. in this PC debate. Would we insist on the same specificity you demand when discussing Boston and New York Irish who supported the green back home?

Whew, that is a relief. All this time I thought Iran was a threat to Isreal, but guess I was wrong, he is simply opposed to the Zionist in Israel. One thing about the big A, he can certainly teach us a thing or two about compassion. Hitler hated the Zionist pigs too, but as you have pointed out, that was a good thing. You're photo ops are cute, and they certainly speak way more volumes than actions.
