I read some of your outburst. Frankly your message got a bit tiresome after a while.
I noticed you seemed cross that we were being like "overgrown children" about it all and, to prove how grown up your own viewpoint was in comparison, you felt the need to post a monotonous, retaliatory post on of all places, the Florida Gators message board about a lot of excessively Pro-Tebow talk. Whodathunkit, eh? The mind boggles.
The one bit that made me chuckle was the above quote though.
I'm not a fool. I have my moments I admit but I don't see Denver having some sort of divine right to win a superbowl in the next 4 years. If anything is chidish here it's that you came to this board to criticise our fanbase's often blinkered love of their star man, by making an arrogant presumption about your own. If you can't see the hypocrisy in that, I guess you never will but I find it amusing all the same.
For what it's worth, I don't see any guarantees at all in Denver. Opportunity, yes.
If you don't like hearing how Peyton's record is FACTUALLY poorer than Tim's in the postseason for the Broncos right now, I suggest you snuggle down for 12 months and hit the boards again next year...

I am just trying to understand the mentality of someone coming here, a college message board, after his team's loss to chastise people?
Me thinks thou doth protest too much.

Very good quarterback sure, but good person - nah, just has great PR people, great lawyers and deep pockets.

Manning has never been accused of raping anyone, to my knowledge. He is rumored to have paid hush money to mistresses - I have some very circumstantial knowledge of a situation. I now work for a hotel / casino company and one of our employees was fired for Manning related "activity," after which she supposedly got some money out of him. She got money from somewhere and there was no alternate story besides the Manning story being bandied about. Honestly, i have no real proof that he paid her - that was just the rumor. Even if true, it makes the girl look worse than him IMO - I don't tend to get too excited about rich, powerful people cheating, since nearly all of them seem to do it.
I've met him at one of our properties as well. He was sort of aloof, not a total jerk, about average for an athlete. I did wonder how he got the sterling rep he had when he didn't appear to have much in the way of personality or interest going for him, i chalk it up to a good publicist.
two asides: Manning was way larger in person than I expected, and his dad Archie is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Eli was not in attendance, so I cannot report whether he is an emotionless robot as he appears.

Too bad it couldn't have been Tony George who intercepted it too.

peyton--has lost 20% of his arm strength, but they still signed him to that 95 million contract, expecting miracles. His big days are done.

The experiment with Peyton was failure, just like most everyone outside of Denver though it would be. Peyton may ahve another year in him, maybe..Last season was one of the most exceiting season's Denver has ever experienced. No expectations and boom, Tebow brought his magic to town. Oh well, live and learn. Should have done the right thing and stuck with the kid.

several of his passes dropped to the turf; I thought it was the cold air and it just didn't hold a line like it would have in Miami, but if it is his decreased arm strenght, then the jokes on Elway; you asp!

peyton's got 95 million in guaranteed cash, even if he chokes away playoff games---he won the lottery by going to denver.

If you really like Peyton, tell him to retire. He isn't getting younger, he can't grip the ball at times and that and his neck will get worse and he had already hit the lottery years ago.
One of our big reasons we said it was foolish to get rid of Tim is, the future.
Yeah I know, he threw the ball well in warmer, regular season weather. He is maybe the best regular season QB out there. But the end results is what we said it would be.

My favorite line of nyuknyuk's "don't kid yourself, Manning will win a Superbowl in Denver..." Based on what?! They had the #1 seed and Manning isn't getting younger.

Really, is that all you have to debate the facts I laid out for you. So here you go.
When a baseball player goes one for two, he is hitting 500, not 50.
Perhaps you are sports challanged and need to catch up with the new math that has been used daily for our entire lifetimes.
Would you prefer 50% winning percent for Tebow, 0% for Manning in Denver Bronco playoff games.
My math skills say Peyton lost in overtime, Tebow won in overtime. Tim has played in one more playoff game than Peyton as well.
Since I said these same things before it happened, you didn't have to believe me then, or believe your own lying eyes now.
But as they always say, scoreboard. Bronco playoff wins, Tebow 1, Peyton 0.
Tebow one win out of two, for a 500% winning record in Denver playoff games, you and Petyon zero...
Are you posting in cold weather...
