I hope Tebow ends up in the HOF, really. But some of you Florida fans are making the rest of the country gag with your poor logic about him as a QB. I'm not saying he'll never make it, just that he wasn't as good of an option as Manning, even at 36.

You're ridiculous, because this thread isn't about Tebow!!! It's about Manning/Broncos/management. And he lost.

The real POS is Elway who in earnest really doesn't want anyone to steal his legacy which is why he got rid of Tebow as soon as he could. He knew bringing in a choke artist who was coming off a severe injury, and near the end of his career would likely preserve his legend.

This thread doesn't exist unless Manning replaces Tebow. Quit playing dumb. The OP mentions agnostics and karma. This thread would have been about anyone picked over Tebow.

I've got two plane tickets to Orlando, and you've got to buy one of them. You've also got to mortgage your family's future to pay for it. One's $100, one's $1,000,000. The tickets are for the same seat on the same plane. Which would you buy?

You are assuming the Broncos's defense wouldn't have played harder and limited the scoring of the Ravens. You are also assuming that a Tebow run offense would have committed as many turnovers to allow the Ravens to be in a position to score.
The point of this thread however is the irony in getting rid of someone who got you past the first playoff game to get a great QB who couldn't.

David beating Goliath tonight.
Flacco also slayed 1,000 Bronco's with the Jawbone of ass (John Elway).

Have my kids look up to who, Manning, a guy who constantly berates his teammates and can do no wrong, wake up. Good QB, but ego-maniac.

Quit being dumb, Payton lost at home to a team he should have beaten. Tebow is just the an afterthought in this team's mismanagement. The fact that everyone thought Payton (their messiah) would lead them to the promised land was the joke.... they didn't know just how average they really were... Until tonight.
In the end their management f*&%ed up when the payed pencil-neck 92 million dollars to replace the one person that was never their problem to begin with.
So Tebow only comes in as an after thought, but not the actual subject matter. Do you understand now?

Its defintely ironic. I'm not questioning that. The poster who mentioned this being a Davidesque slaying of Goliath is right also. Isn't the fact that the Broncos were Goliath a little telling though?
While we're playing "if" game though. Maybe if Tebow was QB the Ravens would have turned the ball over 8 times and the Broncos would have won by 55. Or, maybe with Tebow as QB, the defense plays even worse. I realize teammates usually love Tim, but I think you're making his influence a little too mythical with what you're trying to imply.

I understand you must be speaking of some thread other than this one. I'm not playing dumb. You obviously hate Manning and loath the Broncos management (I can't stand Elway either). The difference we're having (why we're not on the same page) is because only one of us is objective about this. If you can't see that this thread is about Tebow, then just read it over and over until its clearer.

Haven't read the whole thread, but I don't see how it must have anything to do with Tebow, esp. ability-wise. It's about Manning and there is nothing wrong with enjoying his failure. Maybe some think Tebow would have done better, but I don't see where that has to play in. The bottom line is Manning played poorly and lost. As a Gator, Tebow, and Chargers fan, I enjoy the heck outta that. Ha!

Except it really isn't dead on and in fact it's one of the more ridiculous conspiracy theories I've ever heard.

Correction, the Broncos have already gone farther with Tebow.
They won a playoff game with him.

LOL, Tebow did what the great Happy Feet Manning couldn't.
Tebow was able to propel a far more undermanned Broncos team to a home victory and into the next round of the playoffs, and against much greater odds.
El Oh El.

Hmmm, got me there... I figured with all those posts you've got I wouldn't have had to be clear about the fact that we were talking about a hypothetical season with Tebow - you know - this year.

Did you actually check Denver's strength of schedule? They were paper champions. Yes Payton did well with them this year, but he had a chance to own part of another NFL franchise (The Tenn Titans) yet he chose to steal Tebow's hard earned position. On top of that Payton chose to get a quick trip to the Super Bowl at Tebow's expense.
He's nothing more than an opportunist that failed!!! The management in Denver screwed Tim, and in the end they got exactly what they reserve. Karma's a bitch and Denver's payed for their deceit and lies.
