However, it is a fact that Gingery did make the following statement that clarified his position and it also sets him apart from Adkins's position.

Never said his position is identical to Akin, did I? I quoted him correctly saying that Akin was "partially right."

No, that's not what he said. What he said was:

When asked if climate change was causing the Earth to become warmer, he said, "I don't think it's the cause. I don't think we can control what God controls."

In other words. Man can't affect the climate, only God. I personally think that's ridiculous. You may disagree.
