In what looked to be a promising future with the steelers changed quickly when chris rainey was released today. I just hate when people waste talent by repeating the same mistakes.

I've always had good interactions with him. He was always nice to me & my son. He went out of his way one year after fan day to find my son because he missed Chris due to being sick when we were near the RB line. He even remembered my nephew after not seeing him for a year.
He's made mistakes, no doubt but I've never had the "attitude problem" issue with him. You may have had a completely different experience so I respect your opinion.

I think we all have besetting sins, areas in our lives that remain a bit out of control. Some areas are much worse like hitting another woman. But let's be honest, most if not all of us are repeat offenders too. Having said that, no excuse for what he did.

Saw the same comment on one of the ESPN stories. "The Steelers have no problem keeping a QB who collects rape accusations, but an open-handed slap? No sir, we can't tolerate something like that on our team."

Oh....I thought he got released for no reason. Ah well. I guess getting paid to play football wasn't enough to keep him honest. Usually that does the trick. If Burfict can clean up his act then there's no hope for Rainey if he still thinks he's in college town.

It looks like this was a different girl. One he's dated for 9 months. She must be from Gainesville or in school because why would he be there?
