Georgia am Alabama havers highest potential to move up bc they are still on the running for the most 5 Star guys (Reuben Foster, Tunsil, Adams, and some more 4 star guys as well). I can see us moving up as well, but besides Adams, we don't have a realistic shot with any 5 star guys

Sounds like some legit smoke about Jones. He's a 5 star for sure.

You should throw Scout out of the mix. Their ranking method is total bs. Then the gap between UF and ND would then be a much more legit 5 vs 6.

If Kelly goes to Philly after his denial last weekend, I expect some defections from ND.
I assume he's just wangling for extra $$$ but apparently various Twitterati are reporting the interest as genuine.
If so, that might not stay that way with ND#1 for much longer...

I agree 100%. UF at #7, ludicrous. What's more ludicrous is Bama at #8.

According to my math, we're tied with Ohio State for second. 247 sports has UF ranked 4th. We just moved up one spot after getting Robinson.
They've only got him ranked as the #22 WR, #186 player overall. Starting to wonder about them. Love the respect they give Kelvin Taylor, but they don't show much to several of our commits. They only have five of them in their top 100.

There is a clear bias towards non SEC schools on Scout. Personally, I think it's a differentiation strategy. I suspect they are banking on the rest of the country being tired of reading about the SEC, its BCS championships and recruiting titles. I believe they are trying to pump them up with false hope, thinking it will draw more eyeballs.
The only reason TAMU got so high is because of their huge class. Scout doesn't cap the number of players that can contribute to total points (Rivals does at 20).
This is my theory, anyway.

On the sum of the four, UF is now #1. We also moved up from 7 to 6 on Scout.

They've stunk for several years now. They like to play favorites with schools that are strong in their network.

This, absolutely. Scout people have a personal vendetta going against the Gator Nation.

Not sure that's the case. The guys we ended up getting were underrated on Scout long before they were UF commits. I just think they do a poor job of evaluating players. A few years back, they seemed to favor us more than the other polls and Rivals was seen as being anti Gator.

Really? They had VH3 at #14 before the UA All American game in which he became the MVP, after the game and award they dropped him to #16 on their list.
But they have a good for that, I assume.
