Georgia would have beaten down Notre Dame if they were in the championship over Bama.

LSU would have (more questionably) beat Ok. State in the title game last year if Bama didn't get in.

Florida would have destroyed Texas in the Championship game in 09 if they had beaten Bama.

The SEC doesn't need Bama to be dominant. Strong case that the second best team in the SEC would have won each year that Bama won.

alabama is in the middle of a run right now like UCLA basketball in the 60s-70s---their coach is the best in the business and all the top players want to play for saban. He may win 5 more BCS titles before he's finished at alabama.

Georgia almost beat them in the SECCG and did not look dominant over them at all. While USC pounded UG. Then a 2 loss TAMU beat them at home and if LSU did not out coach themselves would have beaten them. And we beat USC, TAMU AND LSU. The teams I mentioned can beat one another on any given day and all of them are in the SEC. The SEC is the dominant conference while each year a school or two from another conference pokes their head out just to get it chopped off.
