Miss Publix and anxiously awaiting the impending invasion into the Charlotte area. From all I hear we'll have quite a few Publix around to compete with HT.
On another note, I suspect that Aldi carries many of the same items as Trader Joes, just in different packaging and less expensive.

Mayo, kens honey mustard (the one in the little cup by the hot case), and pickles.

Best in my area...I can get anything in the Meat Dept. as three of the Meatcutters used to work for me when I was a Meat Dept. Mananger at Winn-Dixie.
Fried Chicken is the BEST!!!

A lot probably has to do with location. The two publix stores in Windermere are loaded with hot women. Of course I think Windermere is the boob job capital of the world.

Where shopping is a pleasure, has a new connotation when boob jobs are included.

Winter Park and Lake Mary have a good collection of after market equipment as well.
Up here in these parts, Ward's has the best meat and prices. Publix works only if it's on sale.

Winn Dixie still claims you can't beat their meat.

Publix is good, but we just got a Fresh Market and I'm liking that place.
Weird thing though. Beer is cheapest in town, but their wine is super expensive. Go figure.

Yeah, their cubans are good, but Mi Apa here in Gainesville blows Publix out of the water for Cuban sandwiches.
