Hope ole "Johnny Football" gets knocked down a peg next year
By the time this kid heads to the NFL or whatever, I think we're all going to think he's a giant douche. Wonder where he got the money? Luckily, he loses almost his entire supporting cast heading into next year. Now we find out how good he really is.

Doesn't he come from a wealthy family? Besides, what heisman winning qb doesn't come off as a douche canoe? It just comes with the territory of being an elite QB.

Yeah, but he also wasn't flashing money and talking smack on twitter like this kid. Kid clearly wasn't bright enough to realize that people would question where he got the money. So glad we beat them this year.

I just hate the Scam Newton "Superman" gesture that he does after touchdowns. I know he isn't the only one, but he scores more touchdowns than most so I notice it more.

I believe he said Newton was his idol. Very fitting.

If I were him I'd have fun too. Like I said before isn't he from a wealthy family? I doubt the internet uproar is anything more than "haters hating" from his perspective so why not. YOLO.
If that were Jeff Driskel in the pic, after a heisman winning season, you wouldn't bash him.

Manziel wont be an NFL qb. He could possibly play somewhere but not QB.

I would council the kid if I were A&M and let him know that he's just going to make life a lot more difficult for him and his team mates by posting stuff like that. Stupid thing to do.

Whatever.
Kid can play football, irrespective of whether he has good judgment in other areas of his life yet. He is merely a redshirt freshman after all.

Johnny is exactly 6 feet tall and wears a size 15 shoe. At least that's what the announcers said during the game. I'm surprised he doesn't trip over his own feet as much as he scrambles.

Agree. May as well let him have his fun while he can.
I will admit though that I wish USCe was on their schedule. I'd absolutely love to see Clowney have a free shot at him or two.

Just out of curiosity, what part of his game do you think he is lacking in that will cause him not to get a shot in the NFL.

At six feet with a size 15 shoe he should train with Olympic swimmers. Might have a career there. Hey, the kid's young. Has a hot gal. He's an amazing talent. At least he's not beotch-slapping babes and getting arrested. Too early to tell on his NFL career. So, based on your original post is he supposed to be super-human and be good even if his supporting cast sucks? The kid is good, he's young and it would be nice if we could have a few more guys on our team with his spirit and talent. There are plenty of losers to pick on-he's not one of them.
