The team we have right now is good enough to win the SEC east and if you are good enough to win the SEC east then you are good enough to win a NC. By year 5 of the Muschamp era I assure you our offense will look like Bama's has this season. But we dont need it to look like that to win right now.

An inexperienced Driskel basically playing his rookie year under his second OC in two years with what amounted to practically no downfield WR threat.

If we'd have beaten Lousiville, even by just one point, almost no one here would be criticizing our team as much. I'm not going to complain too much about our team this year after the great season we had.

If there was any place we could work on in the off-season it's developing the passing game with the new recievers to get them a lot more involved and working on pre-game and mental preparations.

Saban and Meyer knew how to have teams ready for bowl games during that long lay-off. It's just a matter of our new, young coach learning some of those lessons.

get an offensive line that can block and everything is easier

if your freshman are your best players, let them play

I was struck by how few penalties were called in the game, and how cleanly Bama executed. They are very disciplined. While their o-line is clearly very good, McCarron still didn't stand around and hold the ball. He got his throws off very quickly.

Bama was 5th best in the nation in total penalties for the year. We were the 10th from the bottom in penalties.

Coach has us playing hard, with passion, despite some obvious roster 'holes'.. IMO, we need to take the next step and start playing smart with discipline (while maintaining the fire).

Oddly, it seems to me (and I could be wrong on this), more of our penalties and other stuff is coming from our upper class-men.
