Yeah, I'd rather see Georgia win one and solidify the SEC as the best all-around conference as opposed to watch Bama win a dozen or so more. They'll be the favorites next year...and the year after that...and the year after that. See what I'm saying?

Actually, we have (LITERALLY) seen a comparable team. I think their QBs spike marks are still on our defender's chests (Hint: That was for their 2nd of 3 NCs in a 4 year span).
We'll just have to agree to disagree. I don't think Bama's win makes it any tougher for us than it's been since 2009. A UGa win - along with being just viscerally unbearable for many of us - IMO makes our life tougher, especially in recruiting. Lastly, IMO, the perfect setup would be Alabama dominates the West and UF dominates the East. I could certainly live with that (see 90s).

Does somebody want to break the news to "AmericaFirst" that we are out-recruiting Bama this year?

I already did a few posts back. Probably won't change the delusion though.

LOL...Alabama isn't finished with their class. How much do you want to bet that they finish above us in ranking and average come Signing Day? Will you put your money where your mouth is?

You can only play eleven per play.
Except maybe at Georgia.
So, if they ever get in that situation again, send in 15 players, four additional wideouts, it will work out better.

When I'm the one running my mouth than maybe. I was referring to the belief in general that Bama is a slam dunk to win the recruiting war.

Does Bama ever get the top class? Seems they are always at the top, but someone else wins the mythical title. But they remind me of UM in the 80s & 90s in that they seem to really know what kind of kid they want and they get that kid. F$U used to win the recruting title every year back then but UM always had the better teams and players.

Americafirst can pull for uga all he wants. I, for one, would never pull for them in a NC game. No one (bama included) has ripped out our orange and blue hearts more over the years than uga. We can never beat them too many times, nor by too many points.
My SEC loyalty with respect to uga only went as far as hoping they would beat Neb...
To be the best you gotta beat the best...and at this point that will mean taking down bama...one of these days we will do it.

Get over it.
How many kids do we go head to head against Bama with every year? Maybe 5. Maybe. We are going to get most of the premier Florida kids we want. We are the local school. We go against UGA for more kids each year both in Florida and in Georgia.....and there is plenty of reason to pick UF such as location, great basketball and track programs for 2 sport athletes, great academics, etc etc.
Bama is not our archrival. The Leghumpers and sows are.

Sicker than Gator fans, who with two fewer turnovers would might have beaten Bama on that day UGA almost did, then pounded ND as badly as any of the top four or five teams in the SEC would have.
Not sure UGA winning it would have been worse than Bama winning two straight. The Dawgs would be intolerable for less than a year. Bama is building an dynasty that increases in intolerability with each year. Tolerating UGA is an individual choice. Getting past Bama to another championship is something fans have no control of and every championship makes them stronger.
A UGA championship would be an aberration. With Richt still at the helm, they would fall on their face early in the following season. That I would more than tolerate.

Bama winning DOES NOT help us when they're building a dynasty.
Get over that.

"dynasty"
meaningless term. They simply do not recruit against us for very many prospects each year. I have no fear that they are going to all of a sudden swoop into Florida and pocket the 25 best players in the state year after year because they won a 3rd national title in recent years while we "only" won 2 in recent years.
or the top 20 players in the state.
or the top 15.
or the top 10.
They will identify a small handful of guys from Florida they really want....maybe 5-7. We will probably want 4-5 of those as well. At worst we tend to split those 50/50 with them.
The WR Black out of Jax last year and Trent Richardson are two we wanted in recent years that they got. We really didn't recruit that receiver they got out of Miami. Derrick Henry was one we didn't recruit very hard because we are not sold on him as a running back. Tunsil? Yeah that would be another but UGA is as big of a threat with him.....and since he played at Lake City, Columbia he wasn't coming to UF anyway.
UGA also pulled John Theus out of Jax whom we definitely wanted last year. They also grabbed several out of Georgia we wanted.....Jarvis Jones was one we recruited very hard. That humongous DT Jenkins was another. Josh Harvey-Clemons was another. Aaron Murray and Orson Charles out of Tampa are two more.
Georgia is the bigger direct competitor in recruiting and always has been.

if murray would have just spiked the ball, Ga would have 3 good shots to the endzone to win.
