32 years since the last one. The other was won during WWII against club teams.
Nothing to brag about.

I don't think you are getting this. If everything is equal (didn't grow up a Gator, no Legacy, etc.) then they are ALREADY GOING TO PICK THEM OVER US! Now, do you want them picking UGa over us too?
Alabama winning changes nothing. UGa winning potentially/likely makes our life more difficult.
Get it?

Bama, for better or for worse, has seen their program return to elite status. That isn't changing until Satan leaves. They are in the West too.
We don't want the Poodles hoisting hardware. We compete for recruits with them on a much more frequent basis.
As for Bama recruiting, they will get theirs, but they have scholarship limits too. They can't sign everyone, witness our 2013 incoming class.

Ummmm, I would have preferred them winning this one. It was their turn, essentially, and since I am confident and convinced that Muschamp is building a monster -- hell, let 'em have it. Would have made Florida-Georgia all the better.

Once again, they are the SEC's beautiful losers.
Only Georgia could foul up clock management in a championship game.
Spike the ball, let the line get set and your quick pick out to the sideline is a TD, not a tipped ball.
Only at Georgia.
When I was a kid, we would hand them a win almost every year, just to watch them screw up against Auburn or UT or Alabama or G-Tech.
But they would brag all year long like those loses never happened.
Beautiful losers.
This year, they may have very well fielded the most talented team in college ball.
Yet, they made it to the championship game because we handed it to them.
Just to watch them screw it all up at the end of the game.
We all know if Georgia wasn't Georgia they would have spiked the ball to get the line set. They would have completed a TD pass to an open receiver and undoubtedly stomped ND for the BCS NC.
But Georgia is Georgia, and they screwed it up.
So here we go again, another year of listening how they "Beat" us, but we know they still won nothing, although they should have.
Beautiful losers.
So don't bother yourself with worrying Alabama won another title. Georgia never had a chance.
Because Georgia is Georgia.
Beautiful losers.

Yeah, but they're still disappointed and pissed off. Which is awesome in my book!

And that's where we disagree. Again, ALABAMA WINNING IN A DYNASTY-LIKE WAY GIVES RECRUITS NO REASON TO GO ANYWHERE ELSE. I'm not sure how you figure "Oh, they're Alabama. They're going to get their championships anyways" somehow makes it better when they're building a dynasty. I'd agree with you if this was title one under Saban but now it's three.
Get that?

Sure...because they all get to play.. and Kids would rather sit the bench than play
Truth is. We have arguably the best recruiting class in the country. So your point is a little flat.

The only way a Poodle gets to hold the crystal is if they are a silent commit and take an official to UF. See Orson Charles...
It needs to stay that way.

Kill yourself ! Not literally but anyone who actually wanted the Leg Humpers to win a championship needs to kill themselves. Either that or be forced to live in the state of georgia surrounded by them. To Hell with georgia!

So, you're saying that somehow Alabama is viewed in a more favorable light - by recruits - than they were at this point last year and that, somehow, they are going to present a greater problem for UF in recruiting than if UGa (who we compete with head-to-head for recruits far more often than Alabama) had won the MNC? If so, then we'll just have to agree to disagree.
With respect to UF, at what point in the last 3 seasons have they actually HAD a reason to choose UF over UA (again, throw out legacies, lifetime Gators from Ocala, etc.)?

The Dawgs would have carved up the Domer secondary. Bama had guys running wide open through their secondary. The Domers need to recruit some more secondary speed if they plan on winnings NC's. If they had played Oregon it would have looked like a track meet.

Oh, and they're well beyond the "building" phase of their dynasty.

We haven't seen a real MNC dynasty since the Bryant days and yeah, it will have a big effect on our recruiting. Even in the 90s, Bama wasn't a dynasty. When you win 3 titles in 4 years, you've got a dynasty. So, yeah, if it means SPREADING the MNCs around the SEC so one team doesn't gobble them up? Yeah, I'd rather see Georgia win one and solidify the SEC as the best all-around conference as opposed to watch Bama win a dozen or so more. They'll be the favorites next year...and the year after that...and the year after that. See what I'm saying?

I don't mind Auburn's one purchased title. They didn't garner any momentum from it.
Poodles are not likely to suffer the same fate. Better to keep them from sniffing a title.
