I don't think you'll see a Big 10 team win a title for a long time.
I consider ND a Big 10 team in terms of where they are and who they recruit.
The power will be remain in the SEC, with perhaps a Big XII team sneaking in because of that Texas born talent.
Oregon has an outside shot if things remain the same there. Kiffin will doom USC for the forseeable future.

I love it. May I make one small suggestion? It should be "THE coward..." instead of "that coward..."

Meyer looked absolutely shocked at half time. At game's end, he looked like he had lost again to Saban. When Saban joined the post-game show, Meyer was gone. He just has NO answer for Saban and can't even seem to face him. Love the championships he brought us (and I REALLY do believe he engineered them), but that show tonight was really telling for me - he seemed to wither even when talking about the SEC dominance (something he was a big part of) when the talk centered around the physical nature of the game.

Hopefully, THIS will not be the face of college ball because it will go a long way towards ruining a great game. But I greatly fear you are exactly right.

This thread isn't true at all. The bucknuts were still ranked in the BCS. Their schedule was garbage.

Foolish us... we thought he had a bad heart, when since he's proven he doesn't even have one.

I still say if osu wasnt on probation and had to deal with actual pressure of playing in meaningful games, they would have dropped at least one.

I'm not big on Meyer-bashing as I still appreciate the good that he did for us and pay much more attention to that than how he left us, but I found the comment to be funny, and to me it's no more petty than the whole "school up north" thing anyway. I might prefer to replace the label used for their school with something else, but nonetheless, entertaining.

I am not a Meyer basher either, but I thought his commentary last night was horrid, and I think his supporting cast thought so too, judging by their comments. He had no business being there.

All the more fitting because their stadium is aka The Toilet Seat.

Btw....Fowler absolutely embarrassed Meyer during the post game show last night...Basically, he begins by praising Saban and lavishing all sorts of superlatives on him and ends by asking rhetorically..."is there anyone out there who can stand up to Nick and beat him?"...Urban is sitting quietly to his right the whole time incapable of defending himself and or of saying anything really...in the end he just drops his head in utter shame.
I don't know if Fowler did it on purpose but I've never seen Meyer so uncomfortable and embarrassed....he looked like he wanted the ground to open up and just swallow him.

The human polls would have had them at 1 or maybe 2 and they would have absolutely been in.

Fowler asked if anyone wanted a crack at Bama now and Urban Meyer did say, "I'd take a crack at it." But he didn't sound very confident. Urb knows who the alpha dog is, bro.

Good. Give Fowler a helmet sticker.
