Coach Chip Kelly Staying With The Oregon Ducks - ESPN
ESPN has been reporting that Oregon Coach, Chip Kelly, has decided to stay with the Ducks!
He'll be entering his 4th season next Fall with Oregon where his record is now 46-7.
Good for him!

Wasn't there a rumor going around about violations coming in Eugene?

Agreed. College football would lose a lot if he left. They are fun to watch.

There will likely be some. Shouldn't be too strong of sanctions.

Yepper. His goose could be cooked real soon........ then the NFL might not be in his future. He could be burning that bridge.

Just a thought I had after I saw this last night... After all the stuff that game out saying it was really likely he was going to bolt it makes me wonder if this was entirely his decision. I've read he's not exactly the most personable person, which gets me wondering if the nfl teams maybe said no thanks to him.

Bad news for Tebow because Kelly would have interest in a QB with some spread experience. "Talk" was that Kelly wanted to much control for what his NFL experience is...which is zero.
Maybe after the Jags get a GM, they will call Kelly, although Lovie Smith is the best available coach.

Yes, because Belichick is such a charmer. Most teams will not put all the power in the coach's hands. Only 3 out of 32 do this. If that's what Kelly wants and no team wants to give it up I can see where the negotiations end. The Bucs, Browns, Bills and Eagles have all tried. There'll be more in the future too.

I wonder how the players feel? It can't put too confidence in them that he is there for the long haul if he is so publicly interviewing for the NFL.
Can't be great for recruiting either.
