I suspect there is a little Tebow defense going on here.

I will admit though that I wish USCe was on their schedule. I'd absolutely love to see Clowney have a free shot at him or two.

Well, you never know how things will turnout. Next Dec. in the SEC CG in Atlanta maybe it will be South Carolina vs Texas A&M. Then you would have Clowney vs Manziel . Or maybe they could meet up in a Bowl game. You never know.

I don't think there is anything wrong with his game at this level. I just can't see NFL scouts liking his size, or believing that he can do what he does best at the next level.

Watch a replay of the Seahawks win over the Redskins today. I think you may change your mind.

Home-schooled kids are typically brighter than government-schooled kids. I have a twelve-year old neighbor kid who's learning Latin. He'll probably be mentoring Hawking by the time he graduates from 'home.'

I had a feeling you'd bring up Russell Wilson. Hey, I could very well be wrong. They do have some similarities.

Yeah but would you feel the same way if he was a Gator?
He's an outstanding QB - nothing else about him takes away from that.

I don't wish him any harm, but he will have the SEC teams attention next year.
We all will get a game plan together on how to stop A&M.
We did it so it can't be to damn hard.
He has talent and you can't deny it.
It all just depends on how his coaches develop him and how he is coached on when to run and when to throw it away to salvage his body.
Drew Brees has done just fine in the NFL being a lil QB.
I'll leave Johnny in the hands of his coaches to see where he goes.

Not just that. This isn't the first time money or something has popped up with Manziel. Courtside seats at the Dallas-Miami game a couple weeks ago? Maybe his parents are totally filthy rich and have that type of money to blow but A&M has history of dirty dealings from the 80s. They damn near got hammered like SMU.

"Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Johnny Manziel -- aka Johnny Football -- celebrated his team's recent big victory with a bottle of Dom Perignon -- the only problem is ... he's 20.
Manziel and his Texas A&M Aggies destroyed Oklahoma in the Cotton Bowl on Friday, 41-13. On Saturday night, Manziel hit up Avenu Lounge in Dallas and as you can see in the pics ... he rather enjoyed himself.
We're told when the pics were taken, Johnny was hanging out with a small group of people in an area behind the DJ booth.
Manziel doesn't turn 21 until December and the club is a 21 and over place.
SHOCKER ... college kid drinking!"

Manziel is a kid. We keep forgetting that fact but so far he hasn't gotten into any trouble, his folks have money he gets to spend, he has a hot girlfriend, he likes to use Social Networks and he is certainly the most exciting player in college football.
If anybody wants Johnny Football knocked down a peg you have to catch him first. Personally I'm hoping he goes pro before Florida ever has to face him again. After witnessing what Teddy Bridgewater did to us Johnny Heisman ver 2.0 is the stuff of nightmares.
Seriously maybe a small minority of us were model young citizens at 20 years old but I certainly wasn't and apparently neither is Johnny Manziel.
