Does anyone think enough pressure could be put on the athletic department to make a Darrin Kitchens Jersey available from Nike to purchase? Who is the best contact to try to make it happen? I, for one, would like to have a signed, framed one hanging on the wall.

In terms of numbers, UF sells #1 and sold #96 (may still, not sure) as the available jerseys. Added #8 for the time they were pushing Rex's Heisman candidacy and #15 after Tebow won the Heisman. And that's it for what numbers UF sells. Unless Kitchens becomes a legitimate Heisman candidate, past history suggests UF won't make his number available for purchase.

I have all the contact names/numbers for both UAA and Nike themselves. But....

It....Ain't....Gonna....Happen. Sorry but your hope of a Nike Jersey--even AFTER graduation--for Kitchens, simply won't happen. You have no idea on the minimums required to make these things overseas and the factory commitments, much less the lead time from order-to-shelf. While there may be a handful of devoted Kitchen fans and rightly so--there is nowhere near enough demand to have a jersey made for him.

If you can find someone to pull off that deal of making a 'custom' jersey as you call it--then you would best be advised to try that. That is pretty much the only option you have.
