Then there are the newcomers, like Chris Jones, the 6-foot-6, 255-pound Mississippi State commit who wasn't even in the Scout 300 two months ago and is now a five-star prospect, the second-ranked defensive end nationally and No. 24 overall.
"(Jones) has one of the highest ceilings in the class," national recruiting analyst Chad Simmons said. "He is so quick off the ball, he has great range on the edge, and he has so much room to improve. He is now the top prospect in Mississippi."

Jones is a 5* on 24/7. Mississippi has some serious football talent, with the academics usually being the downfall. He completely dominated here, and then at the UA game.

Very surprised we have a real shot at Adams. I gave us no chance, and while I still don't think it is likely, some shot is better than none.

So he's legitimately better than Daniel? Glad we're after both of them. That increases our chances of getting at least one big Buck candidate.

If he didn't leave Gainesville with UF #1 then our chances are probably slim.

The true X factor is the fact that so far mom's effect has always been to steer kids away from us, but when moms really like us (ala Walker and Gilmore) they don't help us

Maybe with a few recent recruits but mommas have helped us a lot in the past.

Kids always love their visits. Visits are pretty much designed to be awesome. I've no doubt Adams walked away from his Florida visit thinking, "Man, that was cool." And then he'll walk away from his Georgia visit saying, "Man, that was cool." And then he'll walk away from his Clemson visit saying, "Man, that was cool."

I say if you seen them play about the same in all reality.... I would give the slight edge maybe to Jones now just did simply making the O Line in the all star game look like a pop Warner team... But Daniels is very good, and if we land both that would help us tremendously...

Georgia's DL class isn't that strong right now, perfect opportunity for MA to step in and be the jewel of it. We can hope though.

I don't think too much surprises me anymore about recruiting. Some say our chances are 70% and the guy goes to one of the other two schools with 15% chance... Or we have absolutely no shot and then we get them, Fowler/Elam.... Yesterday was my first surprise in a long time with Anzalone flipping, loved that, but then again some could say it really couldn't come as a shocker it's his fathers Alma Mater, and he liked them from the beginning...

Jenkins is gone to the NFL and now Geathers has declared for the NFL also...
I would guess UGA is selling playing time to Adams

UF lost Hunter to Graduation, Floyd to the NFL, Jacobs is a SR, Cummings a JR and Orr a RS JR next year. We only have RS FR Q. Williams as the only other DT on the team.
We can sell plenty of playing time. Especially since rotation, early and often is part of our strategy on the D Line.

Yeah, I too think we have lots of playing time to offer. I hope he sees us as a team that's on the rise, and a Georgia that will go back to losing 3 to 4 games a year after their QB leaves.

Caleb Brantley will be in our depth chart also
Don't know what UGA's depth chart looks like
