Keselowski was drinking orange juice Thursday at Daytons 500 Media Day, which officially kicked off Speedweeks. Still, the reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion was his usual, laid-back, out-spoken self, offering up some of the best one-liners during a daylong event filled with playful jokes, repetitive questions, canned answers, optimistic outlooks for the upcoming season.
For Keselowski it wasn't all that different from his last moment in the spotlight. He just didn't have a little buzz going.

Larson took a scary ride there. #32 helicoptered into the fence and left the front of his car in the stands, engine on fire. Very much like Bodine's truck crash. Pieces came up 20 rows in that one.

Update from the crash at the Speedway. There are at least 10 patients, 2 have been transported to Halifax, which is our trauma center. So far, there has been only 1 Trauma Alert. We will provide local news links.
That's scary. Amazing that no one appears to have been killed. Compare this to the grisly accident at Le Mans, in 1955, when an engine went flying threw the crowd and killed over 70 spectators.

Update from the crash at the Speedway. There are at least 10 patients, 2 have been transported to Halifax, which is our trauma center. So far, there has been only 1 Trauma Alert.
Update from crash at Speedway. Patient count is now 15 with 11 to halifax, our trauma center, and the rest to Ormond Memorial.
Michael Annett is currently being treated at the Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Fla. after an accident during Saturday's Nationwide Series event. He will be kept for observartion.
Annett was transported to the hospital after complaining of pain in his chest and sternum.
Annett was treated for bruising on his chest and underwent a CT Scan.
Larson crashing right through the gates, tire flying on into the seats. He was scheduled to go from this to Ocala tonight, but withdrew from Ocala after this.
ESPN has reported that 28 spectators have been injured, one suffering head trauma, and 12 cars were involved in the big wreck on the final lap of the DRIVE4COPD 300 Nationwide race at Daytona. The Daytona 500 race is suppose to go on as scheduled on Sunday.
Now the latest is 2 spectators with critical injuries. They have stabilized. ESPN is covering it right now.
