I have no idea, but I swear this was Nick Washington's doing. That kid should get paid by the staff, with the recruiting he's done.
PS please don't pay him

Also, he was going to commit today to a school, but pushed it back. That looks good for us

We could just steal Clemson's tactic and make Nick a high school football coach somewhere. Then we could pay him anything we wanted.

Hopefully we are recruiting him. In his highlight video, He shows good pocket presence and in most of his throws he seems to go through his progressions. Also like his accuracy. Anybody out there see him play?

Looking at his offer list, we would easily be his best offer.
It's strange, scout has him as the number 21 QB which is more than respectable, but his offers are lower/mid tier BCS schools. I wonder if grades are an issue or something else is going on. If it was something that suddenly cleared up it could make some sense.

Isn't this the guy who decommitted from USF after Holtz was given the ax? If I recall after he left our camp without a offer he was extremely anti UF and even burned a jersey or something? I know these are 17-18 year old kids so it doesn't bother me a ton but wasn't there some signs of immaturity on his part?

I like them both but I think Max looks more polished and accurate IMO; at least as of now.

Where does he fit in for us? Jeff has 2 more years and Grier comes next year. Why would he come to UF?

You never know how a QB develops in college, could turn out to be a star. He must have the grades if he indeed has an offer. It can't hurt with DRob that we are bringing in QBs that pass the ball. I like a mobile QB like Woulard but you have to put that strength to use. We hurt ourselves this year trusting the OL to protect our QB.

Scout thinks this about him:
Quote:
AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT
Decision-making
Pocket Awareness
|
Considering we are currently not happy with this issue on our roster, why would we want him?

GatorCountry is the best Gator Sports board, and also the most conservative.

maybe he is more coachable than our current qb. as i pointed out before, jd's worst games were those that he had more than a week to prepare

I think you, and a select few, are the only ones with the obvious hatred for our roster.

Define coachable because our current QB is very coachable as I understand the term.
