Exactly. Which would be a problem with our circumstances, scheme, wr, ol, etc.

So not coaching. That's what I was saying.
Sometimes players thrive better in different systems than others.

I wish him the best. Our coaches didn't choose him for whatever reason. He stayed two years and it is obvious he's not "the guy." I think he's making the right choice.

It's a conspiracy! They knew that Brissett was better but somehow they were determined to start Driskel anyway!

Good luck to JB but I really doubt we will regret this as some are suggesting.

This is what people said about Gilleslie for 3 years and look how that turned out. He apparently couldn't beat out the other backs. If he would have transferred you people would have been saying the same thing. I don't know if JB was the better qb, but nothing about the 11 games JD played in showed me HE was a future star.
Someone also mentioned JD had two different coordinators in two years...so did Chris Leak. I can guarantee none of the coordinators are telling Jeff to lock on to his receivers or to not go through his progressions. He kinda reminds me of a mobile Blaine Gabbert. JD just hasn't been real good (like other sophomore qbs we've had) and some of us wish we could have seen if JB would have progressed into something special with 11 games in his rearview.

Arkansas, Louisville, Duke, NC State are his possible landing spots. He leaves UF today.

Bad comparision. Nobody said Gilly looked averaged when he was giving the chance to touch the ball. Everybody saw his star potential.

Sorry about that. I meant children who attended UF as well. People who didn't go to UF, people who don't have children that attended UF, people who don't live in Florida...there are lots of diehard Gator fans out there.

Remember how people used to complain about Meyer playing favorites and not playing the best players (without any real evidence) that is essentially the exact same thing that a lot of people think is going on here (once again without any evidence).

Would be more scared of the Cam thing repeating itself if it was Jeff transfering to a school that actually runs the type of offense he's best suited for, that said I'd be worried if Jacoby goes to a spread program as well- at a Clemson or a WVU, some school that actually wants an offense to do more than run the clock he could be a star.

He might not think he'll get a fair shot and frankly after the Sugar Bowl who could argue with him.

Look at the post history. Matter of fact, it is similar to yours. 75% of his and your posts refer back to Meyer. He gone. Go follow him.

Muschamp and Pease are not looking for a QB that runs: it just so happens Driskel does that and its need right now with our oline.
|
All we heard through spring practice, fall practice, and even after the BG game was that the starting QB hadn't been selected, that it was still an open competition. Now that may not have been true, maybe WM was lying. But if it was true I don't know how anyone could ask for a more fair shot than that.
