Unless it's a situation where somebody's career or life is at stake, I don't go for unnamed source. It's too easy to make chit up and have no accountability for it.

Whatever the case, that was a very irresponsible tweet by Elam. But then again, are there any other kinds of tweets?

Elam's being a jackass now and needs to shut his pie hole. I liked him, but my love for any 1 player is WAYYYY below my love for the program. Right before siging day too. What a jackass.. smh

I agree, aside from the name calling.
He can certainly support Jacoby without the politics comment. I have no problem with him saying receivers should go there followed by lol. Shows he is supporting his bud.

This will have no impact on recruits before signing day.

yeah, I should have only said jackass once. Steering players away from UF, even with an "lol" attached is way over the top.

If you don't think this will be brought to Clark's attention, you're crazy.

Haha. If there's one thing I dont know for sure, it's what changes a 17yr old kid's mind. I do know this can't help in any way, though. And would be easy for another coach to make it a bigger deal than it is.

If Clemson's staff starts showing James Clark tweets from Elam to prove he should go to Clemson Florida has already won

No doubt. All they have to say is, "His own teammates don't think he's any good."

Not sure you can say he didn't get an opportunity as he started 2 road games last year at LSU and Auburn and then came off the bench against Vandy, USC, FSU, and started against Jax State. In any of those appearances did he really do anything that would make you say he should start over JD. I would understand if he never started a game or just got some mop up duty but he did have opportunities to make a statement. Especially with the Oline we had pass blocking I think without Jeff's mobility to make plays we probably lose at least 3 games if JB was the starter.

So let's not advertise it here. Closing this thread.
