I remember him being committed to Clemson, I never knew the other part. Would like to have that other former Clemson commit though (Daniel). Do you buy the stories about him no longer visiting?

I think his visit is up in the air it has been pushed back many times because of his grades and test scores

What would be his goal in doing that? Does he think we will take our eye off the ball and stop recruiting others and only concentrate on him? I don't think so. Let the guy take his visit. His top school is Ole Piss. We actually could turn him. It could happen. Will it? Probably not. But at least he is coming in for a visit on a great weekend where the ODome will be rocking.
If he doesn't come here, well, we at least tried and gave it our best shot.

There are some really crazy reasons sometimes as to why a player shifts to another leader. It does happen. He is the top player in the country. He can troll me all he wants. It's a chance we must take.

Excited about Robert but disappointed for Elijah. He was interested in UF early last spring. He chose us. He built his dreams around being a Gator while Robert was playing the big programs against each other. I hate that Daniel's academics are keeping him from UF because he will perceive that as rejection from the school he may have wanted the most. I don't know if it's grades or test scores, though I do know that Indiana public schools aren't much better than southern schools. I hope there's some way we can reassure him that we believe in him and want to find some way that he can become a Gator at some point. If we don't make this right. Coach Young will never be able to effectively recruit Indiana again for years. Bryant Young played high school football within a few miles of the Indiana border. He played at ND and he's a hero to players and coaches across the state. We need to establish a level of dedication and trust to this part of the country or we are going to make it harder to break into this part of the country. Never mind the fact that Daniel, his coach and his family gave UF every chance to bring Elijah into the fold.

I don't care who else we get at DE or Buck, but I want UF to make some kind of commitment to Elijah Daniel to go to prep school or JUCO and have a spot waiting for him when he's finished. Better yet, let's give him an offer for this year and give him every chance to boost his GPA or improve his ACT score. My daughter added five points to her ACT on five attempts. Get this kid in a test prep class. Get him a tutor. If Dante Phillips could go from early entry to not being admitted, couldn't Daniel close the gap in the opposite direction?

So are you saying his goal is to have other programs make huge mistakes by recruiting players he wants th to recruit? Are you saying his goal is not only to go to a certain school, but also to try and cripple the recruiting of other schools?

If so, I completely 100 percent disagree.

UFreak I wasn't knocking the kid, I think he does have genuine interest. I also don't think we have a chance in hell. I'd like to be wrong of course

There are different levels of trolling. Omission and commission. If you re-read my post, you will notice that I asked the question. I was not sure which way you meant it. Hence the question and not a statement.

He actually legitimately likes UF and the recruits and we would be in the running if Olemiss wasn't in the picture.

I'd say his interest level is 99% ole miss, then the 1% split among every other school lol.
