AJC had an article on him today saying that he will only visit Ole Miss and LSU.

My $$ is on him going to Ole Miss to play with his brother.

Well....
Honestly... that is GREAT for Ole Miss!
All of us should be very, very happy for what the University of Mississippi is doing over in Oxford.
Why?
It provide MORE PARITY to that Western Division in the SEC !!!
Every Gator Fan should love seeing what Texas A&M is doing.
All of us want a strong LSU.
Especially the two Mississippi schools...

Why?
Alabama has had a cakewalk the last eight years.
(Except for that ONE freakest year in which Laptop Newton was at Awbrin.)

Believe me... we want every percentage point in our favor when it comes down to WHO the Gumps have to play week in... and week out.

When the Gumps have to play tough teams in their own division PLUS those in the Eastern Division... then they get nicked up... beat up.
They start to lose key players.

Here is startling question?
How MANY times has Alabama and Georiga played each other over the last THIRTY YEARS?
I don't have the definitive answer to that... but if one looks... they will find that it has not been THAT OFTEN.
Over the decades....Vince Dooley and Bear Bryant purposely avoided playing each other.
They did not want to beat each other up.

Now, the irony of it all is:
Here you have two FLAGSHIP schools in the SEC that sit right next to each other... and they don't play each other on a regular basis.

This is great in theory except they'll be pretty good for the two years we play them while whoever drops off our schedule that years hits its inevitable lull. Then our two years playing them will pass, freeze will leave and they go back to being ole miss for the 8 years we don't play them.

Sounds exactly right. Even more annoying for me is that my daughter attends Ole Miss, and I was really looking forward to playing them in Oxford in 2012. But nooo...
