Uh-oh, now you've not only pissed-off Gator fans who love F1, by extension you've pissed-off Gator fans who love the way English soccer fans sing non-stop throughout matches.
The OP was trying to insult NASCAR fans and he used Bama's QB in order to be able to do it on the football message board.
But it backfired badly because he is the one who ended up looking bad because even people like me who don't like NASCAR have defended those who do like it.

Like I said, I don't watch NASCAR.
But, like, I don't understand why you'd make fun of someone who does. And if you do in fact like professional wrestling, it would be particularly ironic for you to call someone a redneck based on the 'sport' they like to watch.
I don't watch Nascar and that's because I don't find it entertaining, but I also don't look down on someone just because they enjoy watching it. The Nascar fans that I know are all good people and defiantly not "stooopid".

I imagine this is a dig against "southerness"--so please allow me to destroy a few stereotypes you may be having. I am a diehard Liberal, with advanced Liberal Arts degrees, also from the South...and I am a NASCAR fan. My first race was the 2001 Daytona 500 (yes, the one where Dale Sr. died) and the sheer power and strategy and ballsiness of that race made me an instant fan. When I can't go to races, I have been known to crank the TV volume up to 11 (because, as all NASCAR fans know, the loudness is part of its allure). So you may be able to hang a lot of crap on McCarron, but NASCAR is not self-evidently a "bad" thing.

I think you are awful butt hurt at being called out by so many people who realize just because you like Nascar that does not make you a 'redneck'. Talladega has plenty but most other tracks have very few problems with 'rednecks'. I like GrandAm, does that make me a wine & cheese snob? I like motocross, what does that make me?
I'll bet if someone does not like rap 'music', you call them a redneck.
