Wonder if Louisville fans are saying we're overrated ?
Love to know. After all, that's what we always say about teams we beat. Wonder if Louisville fans similarly think their win last night was no big deal.

Everyone in the nation is saying that.
We will go from 3 to probably low teens.
We go from 2 in the SEC to 5th.
That is the Definition of overrated.

Last night, we were overrated relative to them. They have every right to feel that way. Louisville played a great ball game. That said, I've always thought the "overrated" comment is self-denigrating, instead of lifting your team up for beating a great opponent, you're belittling the accomplishments by saying that your opponent wasn't very good anyway. I think it's generally only fitting when you beat the #1 ranked team.

Yep. Everyone is calling us over-rated. Get used to it. I had to turn off notifications on Facebook just to stop my phone from exploding.

Or, we just lost a game. Or, it could be that Louisville had a 1 in 100 chance of coming out and kicking us in the teeth like they did, and it just happened to hit that 1 in 100. That's one thing that I hate about college football, is that you'll never know.

Oh, we won't be "over rated" when the final polls come out next week.

Give it a rest dreamliner. Your posts since the loss are all drama filled like a female.

Of course they will.
Everyone will. It's the nature of the game. Win or be eaten alive in the bragging rights!

Come on now, you can't be serious with that last comment. "The one thing you hate about college football" is the very essence of sports in general! If I wanted the comfort of predictability I'd watch dumb TV dramas like a chick.

I think if Driskel had completed that first pass to Debose, the game might have turned out much more competitive. His confidence hit rock bottom from there.
We still didn't have an answer for their offense, but at least we could have stuck to our gameplan a bit more instead of playing catch up.

I didn't notice that at the game. I just kept hearing their team chants.

Louisville fans were gracious and glad to get out of the stadium alive. Seems there was some fear among them that if the Gators sucked any more they might create a black hole in the stadium.

My sentiments exactly. I hate that chant. It says your team didn't do such a big deal. I would rather say the other team was appropriately rated and my team beat them. Even when beating #1. I would rather say my team beat #1 than to say they beat a team that really shouldn't have been #1.

We accomplished miracles this year with our only legit deep threat, Debose, banished to the sidelines. That said, we clearly were unmotivated in playing a No. 22 team. NIU might have beaten us last night had FSU not gotten stuck with them. Louisville simply wanted it more. How often do they play in a BCS bowl?

Read a Facebook post from a guy saying if we're the number one D in the SEC then God help the SEC if they join. We may have been overrated, but they're a little unrealistic about their team as well.
