This photo should be plastered everywhere on campus--in athletic facilities--classrooms--etc at UF for the entire year.
THIS is evidence of school pride, loyalty, and dedication which is sadly spread among one and one alone. He deserves a lot of credit for what he did, and every single player and coach should be made to keep this picture on them for the rest of the year as a reminder.
IMO, no excuse that he is out there alone. None whatsoever.

Are we sure that this is what is actually happening in that picture?
Maybe the alma mater was already over at this point and he's just waving to his family/friends?
I mean this is just a still picture, you can't really know whats going on.

If this picture is accurate, it is once again on the coaching.

Yes, I am very well aware of what the word cynical means. You doubted both the story and the picture as if it was out of the realm of possibility that a player would do such a thing. Cynical.

good for DK.
They have never sung after losses, when urb was here or now with will, at least they haven't that I have seen, and i always wondered why not.

With his helmet held high! Brought tears to my eyes.
I'm standing in line at a viewing of a man who died way too young. I'm reminded how short life is and how we need to appreciate every minute and the good things we have. Looks like DK appreciates the great school he attends and the opportunity to represent that school.

Or the NFL.
That picture isn't funny at all to me, he was the only one that did it, he is a gator all the way and my new favorite player. The other players including the coaches should hang their heads because of that display last night

Was anyone there who can attest to the context of this photo? One has to wonder what circumstances led to this beyond poor sportsmanship...I can't fathom that there was't at leats ONE other player, coach, Walk-on senior, etc there by his side. While its romantic to think of him standing alone, yada yada, IMO it probably isnt the whole story.

Players and coaches not there....ummm......selfish on their part? Just like cheering themselves for tackles when we are losing by 20 points.

I wonder how many players stayed after the Georgia game this year and Alabama in 2009? Losing teams rarely played the alma mater after the game especially after a heartbreaking loss.

I love the Florida Gators. They gave us a heck of a year. We showed up over confident and under prepared but our young team and players will not forget this anytime soon. Kitchens is a stud. Representing!!!

I was there and yes Darrin was the only one who went over to the band. Everyone else went to the locker room. Honestly if you knew Darrin it wouldn't surprise you. He's a class act.
As for players being in a hurry to get to Bourbon, you would be surprised how many were at the hotel after the game. We hung out with my bro. Several players spent time with us. Bostic, Powell, Elam, Frankie Jr, and others were there.
