Thanks!

No, you are not required to do anything with it other than throw it in the garbage.
The less information you give the government, the better off you'll be.

Don't know if this is good legal advice but it is the way my heart feels.

Being opposed in principal to a governing body doing statistical research is as reactionary, backwards, and stupid as anything I've heard on this board in a long time. Do you really want the government to spend your money blindly? Do you really want to plumb the depths of exactly how inefficient the various federal bureaucracies can be?
This board seems to be majority populated with conspiracy theorists who spend their entire existence wallowing in some sort of vague existential fear that "the government" is going to "do something" bad, to the point that even mild, rational, simple, fundamental, boring, mundane activities become proof of evil intent.
Get the **** over it.

Despite decades of denials, government records confirm that the U.S. Census Bureau provided the U.S. Secret Service with names and addresses of Japanese-Americans during World War II.
The Census Bureau surveys the population every decade with detailed questionnaires but is barred by law from revealing data that could be linked to specific individuals. The Second War Powers Act of 1942 temporarily repealed that protection to assist in the roundup of Japanese-Americans for imprisonment in internment camps in California and six other states during the war. The Bureau previously has acknowledged that it provided neighborhood information on Japanese-Americans for that purpose, but it has maintained that it never provided "microdata," meaning names and specific information about them, to other agencies.

???
Do you want your government spending money on things it has no business spending it on?
Please tell me why YOU or ANYONE ELSE needs to know how much revenue our company made? Why you need to know what our payroll is? Why you need to know how much revenue we generate for certain services?
The fact people seemingly worship our federal government as the entity of survival is scary...

Then again spending MY time so the government can collect this unnecessary data is definitely beneficial to our business...
