Simply embarrassing
Why did we decide that the way we have won all year is to be abandoned during the bowl game? I'm pretty sure we had a running back named mike, who had 1100 yards this year, who also became an after thought, I'm pretty sure we can not pass protect so let's throw it every down....this was simply embarrassing and I am glad I sold my tickets.....

I find it hard to be embarrassed by something I didn't even play a part in.

Fans are bailing right and left. Another thread is entitled 'no big deal.'
Easy come, easy go. So what if you lose ?

GTFO with this crap dreamliner. This is a BOWL game. I'm still right here talking on this board and will be here throughout good or bad seasons. Put down the bottle.

I do question the decision to abandon the run so early. Reminded me of the SECCG vs Bama in 09.
Sure you can find yourself down two scores, but abandoning the run in the second quarter is premature. Especially when it's been your bread and butter. You gotta expect your defense to get back to form, and use the run like you did....all year.

Well, at least you paid that bet with whatever you made off the tickets you sold.
Quit being a little batch. Give credit where it is due. And if you don't like losing then stop betting.

I guess this is why we returned a bunch of tickets? Why even go to these games if this is our attitude?

Lol. Exactly. I used to get so angry about losses. I don't have to live with it the way the team does.

Just before I turned off the television in disgust, I thought I heard one of the announcers mention that this was the biggest upset in BCS Bowl history. Did anyone else hear that? If so, congratulations Coach! Your first year we barely avoid our first losing season since 1979 with a bowl victory over tOSU, and this year we lay the biggest egg in BCS history. Can't wait to see what's on tap for next year.

Of course if we had kept running the ball when we were way behind and it hadn't worked any better than it had been working when we did run the ball everyone would be screaming for us to throw the ball more. The fact is that no part of our offense worked very well against a team that clearly was more motivated and better prepared to win the game and that took the game a whole lot more seriously than our players seemed to.

That's odd, I don't remember Zook winning 11 games his second season or playing in the Sugar Bowl or coming within one win of playing in the national championship game. But Will Muschamp did them. So how come you equate Muschamp with Zook?

the oline got steamrolled the whole game-they couldn't run or pass--it wouldn't have mattered.

MRFLORIDA and Wilygator, there are other Florida teams you may think about supporting. I am planning to support the Gators and Coach Muschamp.

The man can support who he wants, and he is a Gator. You don't get to decide who he wants to support or whether he is a Gator or not. You sir, can decide things you want to do in your own life. Thank you very much.

MRFLORIDA and Wilygator: I respectfully disagree with you about Muschamp. This was only one game and coach knows it. He is also accountable: he took blame for the loss and learned his lesson. Muschamp is on the right track. We have recruited great players, and with a bit of improvement at the QB position and the addition of a couple of pass rushers we will win a NC next year.
