It will be interesting to see if Chip Kelly goes to the NFL this year.

Hey Ray! I hope it's not too late! Take the advice that somebody should've given to Lincoln: DO NOT GO IN THAT THEATER

So far I have been safe at that theatre.
Just got home. As a history guy I give it a B-.
As a Hollywood entertainment movie it gets an A-.
Now back to the game.

Just tuned in. Has Oregon moved the "O" to the back of their helmets, or have I had too much to drink?

Oregon scored a TD. On the extra point try, it was blocked and caught outside of the endzone. The guy who got it then ran backwards into his own endzone where he lateraled it to a teammate who was taken down in the endzone. That gave Oregon a one point safety.

Wow, thanks. I'm not sure why anyone would run backwards into their own endzone unless they mistakenly thought it would be a touchback, which he didn't if he lateralled...

He was trying to find a spot to run it out, was a mistake.
You can also get a 1 point safety going the other way, if the kicking team somehow went 100 yards backwards and got tackled in their end zone.

The momentum of the ball and all the players was back toward and then into the endzone. If the Wildcat players didn't go after the ball and the Duck players did and got the ball in the endzone, then they probably would have had a 2 point conversion. Of course it all happened so very fast! I have no doubt ESPN will show it a couple of times in the next or two.

Because I could not let it go, I compared the statistics between the Sugar Bowl game and the Fiesta Bowl. They are eerily similar with similar outcomes. Florida and K-State were both -2 in turnovers. Both were outgained on offense approx 280 yards to 380 yards. Louisville is the #1 red zone offense. Oregon is the #2 rushing offense. Gators lost 23-33. Wildcats lost 17-35. The knock against Florida's loss, obviously, is that Oregon is ranked #3/4 and Louisville is ranked #22; however, statistically Louisville's offense is better than most when Bridgewater is healthy. Pruning out games where Bridgewater was injured, that #45 offense was a lot better, maybe top 20, but no matter what they have the #1 red zone offense.
