Inconsistent O-line
The horribly inconsistent o-line has been the downfall all year. Plays well here and there fsu game, lsu 2nd half but for the most part awful. If you are a good HS senior lineman come to UF you can play now.
Not Driskel's fault not Gilli' the o-line is the weak link.

Can't wait to see the new guys. I think many on the OL were at the Cats Meow last night.

Same story all year - offensive line & wide receivers. Pease has recently stated that next year's OL should be "as good", but it damn well should be better. Hopefully a new coach will get the wide receivers coached up to where they can perform and/or we get some great recruits there.

Nixon's performance tonight was simply stunning. Halapio too. Also saw Jordan Reed have a nice whiff that got Matt Jones buried in the backfield.

We must find a line who can block

I think the line would look a bit better, if we had a QB who could move in the pocket (not run, there's a difference) or recognize pressure.

You mean the Nixon pressure which occurs after about a second of blocking?

Nixon killed us tonight. He jumped offsides in the first quarter and we would have scored on that play. We had to settle for three. He got worked all night. That being said, Driskel is severely limited in sensing pressure and how to step away from it. He is not a natural in the pocket, very unnatural. He has a lot of learning to do to grasp that sense of pocket awareness.

OL is pretty bad at pass protection, but Driskel has to get rid of the ball. Schemes are good at times, but then sometimes you wonder what are they thinking.

You could say that for a lot of his games.

They had problems with Bowling Green too. If Muschamp didn't insist on running just about every play, they would have nailed both of our QB's.
I think the decision to go with Jeff was made that day, not because of Jeff's overwhelming talent as a passer, but because Jacoby wouldn't have been buried alive by TAMU's DE's.

Our O-line's execution?
I'm in favor of it.

Our OL has been good at run blocking but lacking in pass protection all year. I expect next year's OL to be better.

Yep, missed assignments, getting run over, falling down. Can't pass block a lick.

Halapio has seemingly not improved his pass blocking since his first year. Hopefully we can find seven young men who can pass block effectively next season.
