I thought the coaching hurt us tonight.
Desperate onside kick , play calling in the redzone....not impressed tonight at all.

We threw too much. We needed to pound the ball more and let it pay off in the 2nd half.

Its true, defensively, they had an answer for everything we did. Teddy is really good tho, offense needed to not turn the ball over and they did. Our db's just could not cover those WR for 6+ seconds, could not go full dime, did not execute anything correctly.

Im not trying to rip the coaches I have been ok with the most of the year but tonight I thought we shoulda run , run ,run and let the d control the game, not come out make a bad throw and them get off momentum wise. We pounded a lot good teams with the run this year but looked away from it most of the night.

I hope your joking about the coaching being good tonight, I can't tell by reading your post but I thought that was the worst I have seen from us all year, and our dbs shouldn't of had to cover for that long with good game plan...I o

I do think they freaked out and went with the pass too early in the game. I think they saw how our defense was not getting them off the field so we weren't going to get too many possessions. We should have come out running the ball the first play of the game so we could settle Jeff into the game first before he had to throw.
I don't think the onside kick coming out of half was a bad call, they probably saw something either on film or in the first half and thought they could get it. Obviously it didn't work out and the penalties by the players on that play really killed us, which the coaches can't control.

I didn't think the coaching was too bad.
We are what we are. I hate the slow down, shorten the game strategy. It annoys me we snap the ball so late. We've done it all year, so what's the difference now? It's who we are
We can't throw in tight windows so we resort to gimmicks in the RZ. Did it all year, did it tonight. It's who we are
WM attempts fakes all the time. The first worked and got us a TD. The onsides didn't. It's who we are.
The D has been slow to make adjustments all year. The first half was bad today. We played very well defensively in the 2nd half today. Same as always...

Strong out coached our Gators. He had them pumped up, disciplined and ready for every play. They did their homework, we didn't.
Driskel waits too long to throw and looks right where he is throwing. No surprises. Louisville's defense knew exactly what our offense was doing all night.
Back to basketball .......

I agree, especially about the first half defense. Why can't they make the changes they do at halftime earlier? Why do we have to put up with all the scores, bad field position, and low time of possession throughout the entire first half before they make the changes that they obviously know how to do.

I'm concerned about the amount of penalties again and the lack of any sense of urgency to snap the ball swiftly when we needed to save time the entire third quarter. I felt like the coaches were just trying to make it a closer game and not trying to win. The lack of urgency is concerning.

You know, I didn't mind the onsides to start the half.
The TWO personal fouls were ridiculous and were inexcusable.

Everything one can point out that went badly tonight comes from a coaching staff not having us ready, we played like a bunch of undisciplined yahoos.

A few guys like Elam were ready to play, but our offense stunk up the place. Our D had no answer, couldn't get any TO's, and we were done.
