Happy for Coach Strong
For some reason this loss doesn't hurt that much. Yes, we should have won this game. Yes, I am sad. But yet, I'm happy for Charlie Strong. He deserves this one.

He nearly blew it -- passing up 20 late in the 3rd and in the 4th?
We had a legit shot there if we convert that 2 pt conversion.

This is about as meaningful as a 3rd place game in those early season tourney games in college basketball. Bowl games are just a nice gift to watch your team play again before we have to wait for another half year to play.

His team couldn't run, it would be silly to try and run and go 3 and out over and over to try and run the clock out.
Hey..anybody seen the guy who said Strong was a poor coach who couldn't get it done in a bowl game?

We spotted them 2 TD's and only lost by 1 and 2 extra points. The world isn't ending.
Congrats to Coach Strong though.

And what a difference in the coaching demeanor between Charlie and Coach.
Strong maintains a quiet, reserved calm about himself while kicking your a$$.
Muschamp screams and yells at everything and everyone while losing.

Coach Strong was awesome! He deserved the win as he had his guys ready and pumped up and very well prepared. His defense knew our offense quite well.

You might want to go back and watch the game. Coach Strong had some yelling fits too.
As for this thread, completely agree. Love coach strong and very happy for him. Hope he lights up the ACC.

I wasn't happy we lost, but this is about the best silver lining I can ever remember. Big fan of Coach Strong and what he did for us as fans.

Yeah, I heard that comment too and even re-wound it several times but couldn't figure out whose name he was saying. Anyone?

Wait...only a half year? When does football start where you live? Because I want to move there. Where I live we have to wait 8 months.

Charlie Strong is a good guy and a great coach. He and his team certainly deserve the accolades.
But the fact is .. out team played like dog poop last night. They looked bored, out of sync, unfocused, disinterested, lazy.

Motivated kids and good coaching will do it more times than not...good for him/them. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if coach Boom chilled a little. That ass-hat Stoops is like that. Comes off like a sore loser. Lacks class. I'll never forget Stoops when interviewed during the half time in Miami when SC spanked them. He went uncorked. Being animated is good. Taking care of business is better...Go Gators.

Completely agree. Glad he is still at Louisville and not UT too.

Have to wonder if the kids were thinking what they were playing for...
