I just watched Dabo post-game interview and can't say it much sounds like "hood talk." More like excitement induced rambling without the whiskey.

Uh, I watched the post game interview and did not notice any semblance of any sort of English dialect that would be indicative of language that would be used in the hood. I'm assuming the original poster meant to say that Dabo Swinney talks like a black "thug" from a "bad" neighborhood, but that simply was not any sort of African American English. All domains of language that were on display in that interview were not indicative of AAE. If anything, he was using SAE (Standard American English) mixed in with some Southern English characteristics, topped off with some emotion and pride for his football team.

Honestly, i only heard a small piece of his post game speech with ESPN, but when i heard it all i could think of was, "now thats the kind of coach i would like to play for." He seemed passionate, full of energy, and excited. Tell me you wouldn't want to play for somebody like that.

Since i know i am going to get called a troll for that statement, let me go ahead and say that, Will Muschamp has more passion and fire than any head coach i have ever seen and would probably be the head coach i would most like to play for if i were to be recruited.
