Defense was on the field too much!
Around 100 plays!
This one falls on the offense not even coming close in the TOP battle!
This is why coach WM wants to be able to control the ball with an abilty to run it when we want. Doesn't mean we will not open things up more next year, but when th chips are on the table you have to be able to run the clock out!

Did you try the Score Board on TD? I haven't tried posting but it looks like it is still up.

Seriously embarrassed and upset LSU lost this game to Clemson. Couldn't have came at a worse time for us in regards to D-Rob. Will it make a difference? IDK, but it sure can't help our chances.

I hope the SEC goes 8-1 this bowl season so that LSU sticks out. The SEC haters and Notre Dame fans are already talking crap. At least USCw fans are quiet.

Disagree completely, LSU had 7 hurries, and 8 sacks, and several turnovers. They did their job just fine, the offense could not sustain one drive, almost every score was because of a turnover created by the defense. Even our defense would circum if asked to play that many snaps.

The reason LSU's defense couldn't stop Clemson on the last two drives was because LSU's offense stunk up the place, which kept the defense on the field for much of the game. They were bone-weary in the 4th quarter. I think LSU had something like 9 3-and-outs. IMHO this game is on LSU's offense (and Miles' failure to call two running plays on 2nd and 3rd downs on LSU's last possession).

Interesting choice of words. I assume you mean "succumb"

Exactly right. LSU should have won the game right there. Instead they lost it rght there.
All game long they passed tto much. They'd have worn Clemson down if they ran more. Plus Clemson couldn't have run so many plays.
Have to give Clemson credit though. That was the best game that team has played in a long time. Boyd was great.

lsu's offense and miles' coaching--as bad as the title game against alabama. mettenberger---terrible. 2nd and 2, run the ball for 1 first down--win the game??? Les thought otherwise.

Got to give Boyd all the credit. And Miles all the blame.
