As far as I see it the sole opportunity he was given he did capitalize -- taking his team to the playoffs and earning a playoff victory. What opportunities did he fail to capitalize on? Would echo the thought of loving to see Tim run a Kyle Shanahan offense like the one up in DC -- he does not have the athleticism of RGIII but has more power, certainly. Would be fun to watch.

This! and he won't break in half every time he takes a hit like RG3 who is going to have a very short career unless he changes his game a bit

Agreed....give him a warm-weather city like Jax and watch his passing game improve.

What I mean is that if most players haven't made an impact in their first 2-3 years, they aren't going to have many chances.
Even last year, right after Tebow took Denver to the playoffs, there were only 2 teams even remotely interested in Tebow - the Jets and the Jaguars. And the price was only what, a 4th round draft pick?!
Tebow will almost surely get another chance. Somebody will at least have him in camp next year. And he will have the chance to prove himself.
My point is simply that it seems like a lot of people here are under the impression GMs and coaches are going to bring in Tebow as their franchise QB and build an offense around him. That is extremely unlikely!
I want Tebow to succeed. I really do. But I'm also realistic and know that after 3 seasons, if he hasn't become a starter, his options are going to become limited.
At this point, I think the Jags are probably the ONLY team that will give Tebow any chance at being a starter. But I don't think he would have the tools around him to do well.

I'm hoping he goes to the Bills. Jim Kelly was said to be very high on him. I could see Kelly trying to replicate his success in Denver. Would give Buffalo a person to market and pairs him with C.J. Spiller in the backfield.

I know Kelly wanted him for Buffallo. I don't know if he still feels that way about him now.

It would be a great move for Tim, the city of Jax and all the state. Plus, I believe he would be able to play full time instead of maybe here and there. He would also have respect, which he needs and deserves. We would "All Win".

So it's the weather now? Because last year it was the fact that he apparently had the most god-awful talent ever assembled on the offensive side of the football in NFL history. The same exact offensive talent that Peyton Manning has put up MVP numbers with and now boasts two of the best young up-and-coming WRs in the game.
Just a cosmic coincidence that all of that took place with nothing more than a QB change. But you're probably right, it's the weather.

One simple response to this as to why the DEN receivers have had better numbers this year is because Peyton simply throws the ball a whole lot more than Tebow does...doesn't mean Tebow is a bad QB or shouldnt be given a legit chance to start somewhere...there are at least 5 teams in the league who he could start for...off the top of my head JAX, AZ, PHI, and BUF...
With Tebow's talents as being an option/zone read/read option QB..DEN focused heavily on either him or McGahee last year in the running game...and didnt Demaryius Thomas still go over 1000 yards last year? (I could be wrong about that..although I can recall several times where he put throws right on the money to either Thomas or Decker and they were dropped) It wasnt like Tebow abandoned his receivers...

Not a fair or accurate statement.
1, Fox was very reluctant in letting Tebow grip it and rip it. That may of been a good thing.
2, Fox is letting Manning play like Manning can. The offensive scheme is wide open.
3, The receivers that Denver have this year are with a better QB but they are a year older than last year and working in a better scheme.
4, Last year Denver shopped out their number one receiver and they lost Moreno early in the season. Denver reloaded with drafting, trading, and free agency.

Tebow had the highest qbr in the league last year in the final 5 minutes. Not second highest but highest. Considering he was coming from behind and passing on first and second downs and not just 3rd and 15 it says a lot about the Tebows ability IF GIVEN RHYTHM AND MORE UNPREDICTABLE PLAY CALLS. Once Fox quit calling run run run and let TT run a reasonable offense he thrived. It is very simple to see he was very successful when Fox got out of his way. Too bad Elway didn't get out of his way too.

Denver brought in receivers who played with Peyton before and who Peyton wanted them to get. That is HUGE. Denver got rid of their best WR when they inserted Tebow. They wrote off the seaso. And made personnel moves for the future that Included A Luck. But Tebow took them to the playoffs unexpectedly. They brought in no one to help Tebow succeed, yet he did anyway.

In addition decker went out very early for the year with an injury and Denver brought in 3 starting o linemen. Peyton is short term crack to Denver. His arm is fading quickly and he has maybe one or two years left or one solid hit whichever comes first. Then Denver is back to square one without a qb.

Good question. It wouldn't shock me if nobody picked him up. Not because I think he'd be unsuccessful, just because he's become such a media event that teams are unwilling to accept the hoopla, distractions, and controversy that accompany him wherever he goes.

mularkey may get fired by the new GM that khan hires. No new coach will want to take a chance with tebow.
