Agreed. The "fear" comment is nonsense. Courage is important for a quarterback and Driskel is absolutely not afraid of being hit, whether he's in the pocket or running downfield. Fear of throwing the ball? Get real.

With all these extra practices, getting back to fundamentals, I bet Jeff comes out looking very sharp in the bowl game. The better he does, the longer the off season will seem. How could you not be excited about next year?

Another poster who jumps to conclusions. Might also add that you might have trouble dealing with the fact that we are all Gators here, and we all have opinions.

Leak was too conservative with the ball, but had so many weapons that it worked out for him, although it was still tough to watch at times.

I still see fear in driskel, and I haven't seen anyone ever improve on that symptom. The great ones have that confidence from day 1. That being said, driskel makes play and can be a solid starter. Heck, with the way our defense plays, maybe the super conservative approach isn't such a bad thing. He doesn't turn it over, and can run.

Driskel has the same ceiling as Leak IMO, which isn't bad. I don't see grossman or wuerrfel or Tebow though.

Now this is the post that should get the Child Please! Fear? Sometimes it seems people here are either A) not educated much on the game of football or B) not watching the same team/player. Driskel isn't afraid to throw the ball and saying he can't be as good as Grossman while knocking Leak at the same time, clueless!
