He has had two OCs in two years. I think he has performed very well. He can run and is fast to foot. He can throw well if he gets the protection and has receivers that won't quit on their route. Pease will get his passing game in year two and the offense will be better- if the O line comes together.

Happy to have Driskel and really happy to have Pease coaching him for another year. I look for the offense to be cranking next year under Pease.

Brantley was scared to death to throw into coverage, I saw it while he was a backup.
I still see fear in driskel, and I haven't seen anyone ever improve on that symptom. The great ones have that confidence from day 1. That being said, driskel makes play and can be a solid starter. Heck, with the way our defense plays, maybe the super conservative approach isn't such a bad thing. He doesn't turn it over, and can run.
Driskel has the same ceiling as Leak IMO, which isn't bad. I don't see grossman or wuerrfel or Tebow though.

This sums it up perfectly.
You can see the fear in him.
I dont think he'll ever be great
To me hes a game manager with the ability to run.
Which is good enough to get you a NC.

This is a RIDICULOUS thread. Give him the receivers that TT had and he'd be putting up the same numbers, in the air AND on the ground. He's got that kind of talent.

Bitching would be saying "driskel will never be the guy" or "he will never win us a NC"

The only thing that Driskel is missing is experience, a great offensive line, and decent receivers.

I can't believe you don't know driskel is a sophomore
