On one side of the coin, he's a football player, and its a football game, and its a chance to play with the best of his age group in the nation.
But on the flip side, there's really nothing to gain in this game. He's already made his choice, he's not trying to make a good impression to get a better offer or anything. I can understand that there's nothing to gain and injuries do happen.
