Notre Dame beat Stanford and Oklahoma this year. That's a hell of a lot more than Alabama can say.

ND plays all of the service academies. Army, Navy, Coast Guard whatever!

But wait? Weren't Georgia and LSU much higher ranked teams? On one hand you want to give ND credit for beating Michigan and on the other hand you want to diss bama for destroying Michigan....

While I hate the media fawning over ND every year, I think there is a fair amount of jealousy over the media power they have.
They graduate more kids than anyone, rarely do they have any sort of scandal or run in with the law (although the tower death was tragic) and the kids generally play hard week in and week out.
I don't like them at all, but at least try to be objective about it. They do more that is good for college football than most other teams, including many if not most in the conference we root for each week.

I'd like to know how they do such good things for college football. Please explain.

Even so, OU had putrid defense and Stanford is undertalented on both sides of the ball but reasonably well coached.

This says it all. Big names, nothing more.

Me too. Notre Dame could lose every game from here into eternity and it would bother me at all.

Yes you did stop our offense very well while there but yes I was holding a grudge. From the day you got here and every time I hear you speak and your excitement about coaching our Gators, working your tale off and being a straight shooter, you are now one of my all time favorite coaches. Thanks coach.

Bama defense is not what it was last year. They should never have been beaten by A&M, at home no less. Kelly is an offensive innovator and in my mind the gumps are very vulnerable.
They will have to keep it close and win with the run game like they did against the poodles.
I favor ND slightly against a less-than dominant Bama squad.
My rooting interest is the SEC.

Yeah I would not be expecting a traditional SEC blowout here.

I hope Bama shuts them out 77-0 and sets ND's recruiting back another 25 years.

This penisriding of another SEC team by Gator fans is embarrassing. Fck Bama and could care less about the "reputation" of the SEC. Also, what is this crap about hoping Saban leaves for the NFL? What kind of vagina talk is that? I hope he sticks around so Muschamp can break one off in his arse.

Have you tried psychotherapy? Too much sexual imagery on a football forum for me.
