A lot to of over reaction going on. This was a good loss for the boys. Reminds me of a few we lost in 06-07. Did you see how bad we shot? To only lose a game that close with as bad as we shot show me a lot. Also the refs were terrible. Though I don't blame them for the final score.

The headlines in the Gainseville Sun tomorrow should be "Krushed in Kansas City" Kansas State has a better team than us that is certain, they proved it. Their guards defended better and definitely got open and made shots. Their big even got into the act. Tough night for the Gators.
Our guards have a hard time getting inside to either dish or score. Billy has a lot work in front of him. It seems this team has a hard time getting up and playing hard the whole game, unless it is Kentucky. I hope next year Kasey Hill will bring a Chris Paul type game. We need help. Erving Walker, i kept saying to myself could have done better than that. Oh well, this is what we got this year and it isn't working against tough teams. Hopefully we can improve and at least compete for a whole game. its cold up here in North Carolina, but it must be freezing in Kansas City!
These kind of games make it hard for Billy to recruit Nationally. Randle we need inside help.

The loss tonight reminded me of the Rutgers loss early in the season last year. I just never thought they were the better team, but they certainly played like they were tonight, especially considering out lack of hustle and focus, which is a shame.

Weber is a good coach. For whatever reason, he wasn't good enough for Illinois. KSU got the better of the deal during this offseason.

They played like the better team throughout. We had one good run after halftime and then they pushed it back to 7.
We were a much different team last year at Rutgers. We did a terrible job defending them, but were crisper on offense. Last night, we were okay on defense, but abysmal on offense.

+1
KSU made clutch shots and tough 2's all night.
They played above themselves + we played below ourselves + a hostile environment = a loss.
You're going to play a few crappy games a year. It happnes.

One in December won't kill us. This team is better than the past two...and they were both VERY close to final fours. Billy will make lemonade out of this.

Dont we have anyone else besides Wilbiken who can bring the ball up and shoot, instead of fancy dribbling and wasting time off the clock when we need points,to much passing is not being outhustled.

First game UF really got pushed around inside, no one other than Young handled their inside presence, disappointing game, no doubt, but anyone calling for NIT has a serious lack of perspective.Someone mentioned the 04s beating everyone, except of course for the three game losing streak right before the 06 tourney

No knock on Erv, because I really liked him, but we miss Beal more. However it doesn't matter since we don't have either one and we will have to win, or lose, with the players we have.

No, Mad and Insta miss Walker because they would have their scapegoat for the last two Saturdays.

Shooting slumps happen, and lets face it, everybody will bring their A-game against us when we visit their courts. I also think the holidays and long road trips can be a bit of a distraction too.
That said, I'd rather see our areas of need and improvement now instead of during conference play or heading into March.
We're still a very good team IMO, just need to clean some stuff up and focus better.

Let's see...of those three, when all is said and done, you'll have 2 of the top 5 scorers in school history, the top assist guy, the top (total) 3-pt shooter in school history....and Werner.

I think his point was not the quality of the play but as a scapegoat. Werner was the whipping boy then he graduated and the trolls needed a new one so it was Walker. Now he is gone and people pick on Boynton for our losses.
