FYI - It doesn't sound like FSU has much confidence any more. Looks like it's probably between Bama and UF.

He should be over 1/2 way to Tuscaloser by now if he's going to watch the game from his dorm room tonight.

With no inside info on either, I felt good about DR, and I feel good about DW. Similar circumstances with an overbearing coach.

I don't disagree. One thing I've noticed in following recruiting for several years is that when when a recruit who is committed to one school goes quiet, especially just prior to signing day, it usually means something is up.
If he was really solid to Bama, and he meant what he told the Bama coaches about being there today, typically, he would announce that to the media as well.
I think that Robinson made his last public statement that he was back leaning to Clemson and went quiet because he wanted those people in his life pushing Clemson to back off.
What Walker has done over the last few days sound very similar. Give a final indication to the school the pressure is coming from so they'll back off and then go quiet until it's too late. Almost like maybe there could be a little "coaching" going on.

Twitter-birds now saying it's between UF and FSU. In that case I would think DW is ours.

GatorCountry is the best Gator Sports board, and also the most conservative.

Pinch of salt, as always if it comes from Twitter.
HOWEVER, if that's the case then Nick Saban would have just been trolled quite spectacularly. I'd love it for that fact alone... Walker has been openly Bama throughout the All-American weekend...

Yea, but it's that time of day when Twitter-birds are a bit light headed and being seeing things that aren't there.
I will be delighted if he enrolls at UF, but shocked. We should be happy with the Demarcus we got. Two Demarci is expecting too much.

The one in the hand is Demarcus. The one in the bush is DeMarcus. I'm quite happy with the first and would be equally happy with the second. However, if Elijah Daniel has the grades, he looked good in the Under Armour game too.

But wasn't Nick going to slim DWalk down for the Jack spot? Vanderdoes is 300+. Wonder if Nick has him slated for LB as well. Seriously, we keep recruiting at positions we want to fill until they are filled so if that were true about Bama/Vanderdoes then our staff would have to feel a few guys we all really want aren't coming. I'm wondering if DWalk having so much trouble choosing between UF/Bama that he's looking for a third choice so he doesn't have to let either team down.

I believe that's now known as the Spiller Option.

Yep, though getting around disappointing one team you love by disappointing both teams you love requires some rather tortured logic.

Walker's situation is crazy because literally nobody seems to have a clue what's going on with him and from what I'm seeing nobody at Bama, FSU or UF seems to feel very confident about him.
The latest update is that there really isn't an update. Even sources close to him don't seem to know what's going on.

Kind of hard for him to early enroll if he has no clue where he is going
