I really would have liked for our next DL commit to be from Walker, but hey, can't win them all. It did look good there for a minute, so good that I can't really say it's over until he is attending class on Bama's campus.
But we are still in it for a few great DL... Monty Adams on campus is a huge plus. We also get Jaynard Bostwick's last visit. Also, a Jason Hatcher visit... I really think we'll get him, having Joker Phillips from the home state is another plus.
And like you said, Jarran Reed is going to visit. I like our chances here as well. But if we were to get Monty Adams to commit, I am uncertain if we would pursue other DT's.
Brantley, Adams and Cummins. I really think Antonio Riles will end up more of a DT rather than a DE, too.
Things are still looking on the up!

Adams was always planning on visiting, we're still trailing for him though. This visit will be for his mom.
edit: Alabama committed a recruiting violation with walker "#Alabama LB coach Lance Thompson was at Tropincana Field after the #UAGame (that is illegal) and confronted DeMarcus Walker about his visit." So this may not be over.

Adams is a signing day kid and I dont think its will be the Gators as of now we are his first official.
Hatcher watch out for Louisville
we probably trail for everybody that is a DL prospect right now beside Daniel who will visit in Feb hope his grades are good.
I think we could get Bowers if we wanted him

So can someone gives a real answer as to if walker is visiting or not, and what's going on with Brantley, and any other recruits?

The only thing that annoys me about Walker is its being reported that Alabama LB coach had a talk with him on the field at the Under Armour game which is a violation. When will they ever get hit with sanctions for their cheating.

With a kid like Demarcus Walker who is a coveted recruit and has announced visits to rival schools, the NCAA needs to step in with these violations and put their foot down. Preventing the violator from signing the players they broke rules with would be a nice start.
This won't happen though, as the NCAA is a freaking joke. (See lack of serious punishment for REFsu, USC, Alabama...etc)
They won't do anything unless it starts hurting the interest in their product. Sad and sick but true. They prove year after year that it's better to cheat than not.
