Obama nominating Kerry for secretary of state
Another questionable Secretary of State. An imposter career politician who dislikes the military. Awesome... I'm sick of RINO's but maybe Scott Brown can get his seat...
http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories...12-21-10-38-02
WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama on Friday will nominate Sen. John Kerry as his next secretary of state, a senior administration official said, making the first move in an overhaul of his national security team heading into a second term.
If confirmed, Kerry would take the helm at the State Department from outgoing Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton, who has long stated her intention to leave early next year. Kerry, a longtime Massachusetts senator, is expected to be easily approved for the Cabinet post by his Capitol Hill colleagues.
That would open up the Senate seat Kerry has held for nearly three decades. Recently defeated Republican Sen. Scott Brown might contest it.

I wonder if he knows about the immaculate concussion clause in his contract that gives him plausable deniability

Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman John Kerry said Thursday that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will appear before his committee in January.
Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.), the chairwoman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, also said that Clinton "has confirmed that she has every intention of testifying mid January."
Clinton is unable to attend Thursday’s hearings – one on each of the Senate side and House side – due to illness. Kerry, leading the Senate hearing, said, “All of you who know [Clinton] would know she would rather be here today.”
“I assure you, it is not her choice” not to attend, Kerry said of Clinton. “She looks forward to appearing before the committee in January.” http://www.politico.com/blogs/on-con...ry-152500.html

Has the hero of Viet Nam retrieved his medals from the White House grounds yet?

Yes, I can hear it already that she does not recall anything before her head injury. The willing suspension of disbelief

Well, since he already appointed himself Secretary of State back in the 70s, I guess it is a formality. Glad it is not defense.

It may take the effects of a concussion to bring out the truth. When the committee asks Hillary about the attack on our consulate, she might say, "What consulate are you talking about?" Which would be a fair question, because we now know it was not a consulate, except that the mainstream media doesn't want us to know it was not a consulate. FoxNews doesn't, at least. Tonight again in its news reporting it referred several times to the "consulate." This cannot be from ignorance, this is deliberate disinformation. So why do you suppose FoxNews (the same network that screamed the loudest about Susan Rice and the talking points) is now willingly, doggedly perpetuating an Obama administration lie, even when the administration itself (via the Benghazi Report) has let it be known that this facility, whatever it was, was not a consulate?

I guess you could call Sen. Kerry a career husband, but I know him personally and he certainly is not an imposter and he certainly doesn't dislike the military. He is really smart, and very well versed on foreign affairs. He will serve us well.

I have zero respect for Kerry after what he did when he came home from Nam- he will just be another liberal mouthpiece trying to sell America out

Kerry is smart, knowledgeable from his years on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and was right about Viet Name. He almost certainly supported that other colossal waste of lives and treasure in Iraq out of political calculations, as did Hillary.

Kerry is a poser and a fraud of the highest order, just like the President who would appoint that empty suit to the very important position of Secretary of State.
Disgusting.

The conservatives routinely question the fact that liberals predictably defend democrats, but it never seems to occur to them that conservatives predictably attack them. I'll be interested in the day that that moc, bill, and texi find a democrat that they don't believe is a fraud, marxist, idiot, or liar.

Elections have consequences. You can thank all the evangelicals that had better things to do on election day or the early voting that started in 1836.
