Women vs Savannah State, Thurs 12/20 7:00 pm
Gators are hosting a mini-tournament tonight and tomorrow. Watching the end of the Central Michigan/Saint Joseph game. 66-60 CMU with 10:16 remaining. Saint Joseph brought their Hawk mascot (as in person in a Hawk outfit), which is a little unusual.

Gators with a nice job stealing an inbound, but we miss the shot. Shooting is cold, and defense smothering by both teams.

We're trying to feed McIntyre under the basket, but apparently she's having shoulder issues and is grimacing with every bump down there. Moss and Miller are getting some 3's though. With 11:03 remaining in the half it's Gators 19-3.

Getting some turn overs, and Needles takes the charge! Freshman Christin Mercer in. She plays great defense, and has a lay up and free throw so far. Gators 24-5

Kayla Lewis is another spark. No points yet, but she generates turnovers, is long and plays great defense. Another layup for Mercer. Sav St with a shot clock violation. GREAT pass by George to Miller for the lay up. Gators 30-8, 4:48 left.

At the half it's Gators 37-13. Svete with a 3 at the buzzer! Pretty clean half with 7 Sav St fouls and 2 for the Gators.

Another 3 for Miller. I think the announcer said she got her 1st one tonight and now she has 3. Moss for the lay up +1. George has 14 points so far. She's hot with the mid-range jumpers. Gators 56-20

Sav St had 13 seconds on the shot clock and the pep started yelling "7" "6" "5". She fell for it and I just had to laugh. Missed it too. Gators 79-25.

Correct! They'll play Central Michigan, who from what I saw, should give us a good game.
