Great game, but with 2 key guys fouled out, I don't see Butler holding on. Hope I'm wrong

That defender on IU (jersey #1) just gave you an example of how not to play 1-1 man defense.
awful!

You're not kidding. This is what you get with Indiana at some positions though - far from elite athleticism leading to weak man defense. This is the main reason why I've said Florida could take Indiana. I'd give Indiana the advantage at two positions and every other advantage to Florida. You guys would have mismatches to your advantage on both sides of the floor. Even with what I think are their two better positions (SG and C) they don't result in an athletcism-type mismatch.
GREAT game though, not just because I got my outcome of choice either. LOVE watching Clarke play!

Nobody overlooks Butler any more, but this is a great win for them. They are always second banana to IU in the state of Indiana. Hats off to them.
Not safe to compare scores, but I'm gonna do it anyway. Butler beat Marquette by 1. We beat Marquette by 105. Felt that way, anyhow.

Forgot the most important part of the thread: there is a position open at the top.

Butler has just been a special team in big games under Brad Stevens.
They're always outplaying teams with significantly more talent on the big stage.

If anything I thought IU got the benefit of the calls that game. The only reason it was so close was the FT discrepancy through most of the game.
I also thought IU got a huge no call on the strip near the end of regulation that put them in a position to tie it.
IU does not scare me....

Agreed on point 1. Will defer to you on point 2 as I don't watch many of their games.
I completely forgot Rotnei Clark transferred there. That kid seems like he's been playing college ball for 7 or 8 years.
