I do believe we need tighter gun control laws, but I also believe we are losing morality in our society.

since you felt the need to post this twice, i will answer twice:
You realize there's a difference between "injured" and "killed" right? So here's an obviously deranged buy who wanted to harm a lot of people. But because he didn't have a gun, he did far, far less damage.
I'm certainly not for taking everyone's guns. But you did make a pretty good case for gun control.

Also, is this in relation to where these mexican guns come from? So should I include all the US gun stores in that total since that's where most of their guns come from?

Horrific as the psychic impact of mass-shootings is, don't mass-shootings comprise something like 1% of gun fatalities ?

common sense strictly enforced gun laws
-100% of all legal guns should require a background check, it is currently only 60%
-very strict rules to attempt to prevent those with mental illnesses or a history of violence to legally obtain a gun
-ban weapons and ammunition that are far and beyond what is necessary to protect oneself from another citizen or hunting animals
is that really too much to ask for?

If only we could pass enough laws and implement enough regulation, we could have a perfect society.

i find it troubling that when events like this occur and people talk about taking away guns, everyone gets all up in arms (pun intended) Even if 1 life was saved today, isn't it worth it?
What is the reason that you don't want people to take away your right to have a gun outside of your home? Do you feel unsafe on a daily basis? It's a serious question. I would like to know.

At least we could prevent the people who are decent enough to acquire guns legally from shooting up schoolhouses.

Is there a rule against posting the same comment in different threads? If so I guess you broke it. Shame shame.

really, Dave? you're going to keep doing that? making accusations and then refuse to say what you're talking about?
or should we just conclude that you see no difference between 22 injured and 28 killed?
