Don't worry, we'll find a way around it.

Really?? Is this true, can anyone else confirm this? Why not EE 20+ kids every January then?

Ivie? He's the smartest, most advanced freshman DL in this class, possibly the reincarnation of Brad Culpepper. He might be slightly undersized. So was Morrison. Maybe we should have told Morrison to wait for fall, then redshirted him. EJ Manuel wishes we had.
I predict that Ivie will make an early impact and eventually become one of the leaders of what will be a legendary defensive unit.

Because not that many kids graduate a half year early/late. If you get 5-9, that is a great number.

Sheesh, I thought he was injured along with Rolin. Sorry, Mr. Ivie. I didn't know EE's were limitless, so it's a moot point anyway.

Yepper - there's no need to worry about the EE's in this class.

He may have been injured, in which case I spoke out of turn. Rolin's injury dampened my enthusiasm about getting him in early. He has the same kind of smarts, but more athleticism. Maybe just getting kids like this in our own rehab program instead of having them rehabbing in their home towns. It will also help having them be in team meetings, watching film and getting to know their teammates.
I like the idea of counting back, but I think the biggest advantage is getting them into spring practice and accelerating their development as players in this system.
Does anyone know if any program is more successful recruiting EEs than UF?

I hope Robinson will still be an EE for UF. Harris however will not be an ee for us but is still a Gator. He would still be recovering from knee surgery so it is not too big of a deal.

No....check the archives. I've always been a, 'give a man a chance,' type of man. He's still earning his stripes, but dayum, he is making me happier day by the day...
I predicted a BSC Championship game, this year in one of the earlier threads during spring practice before this season began. I thought we'd be undefeated this season... That's a closer guess-timation then all the fainting goats that thought we'd barely win 7 or 8 games this year.

Even if an EE has an injury that keeps them out of spring practice, there are so many advantages to getting used to Gainesville, classes, and if possible some work with Jeff Dillman. I'd bet there are a number of EE's who had AP or dual enrollment classes in high school, so they have a fair amount of credits already. Didn't Sturgis graduate with a masters degree in December? Having some extra classes out of the way won't hurt anyone in keeping up with the required schedule. I don't know about the rest of y'all, but the last half of HS senior year was pretty much trying not to screw anything up. When you've been to 2-3 prom's already, having your girlfriend visit for a weekend in Gainesville is a lot better.
