Love being #1, but not sure if espn has the recruiting cred anymore. I think Rivals and 247 are probably a little better at their game right now. UF is probably between two and three and Bama has more ships left to give and more uncommitted five star players on their board.

Love our class anyway. Think we'd beat Bama next year. Our OL transfers make the difference. Also a great RB and DB class. This LB class is starting to look really good.

ESPN has gained a lot more respect with recruiting rankings. 247 is a joke and Rivals has always been hit or miss.

ESPN is the only site that matters. They are the only name casual fans know and they will be watched by a ton of people on NSD. The rest dont have this so they dont matter. You wont hear mass media mention 247 or Rivals or scouts.

The rankings don't matter nearly as much as the personnel you get to fit what you're trying to do. Yes, getting talented players is a must to win championships; but focus on filling your with the best players available. Bobby Bowden used to call it "getting our share". Muschamp is getting his.

Whether the class is ranked #1 or not, to me, is irrelevant. As long as the majority of your classes finish somewhere in the top 5 to top 10 you'll have the talent to do whatever you want to. We have a strong class, full of guys who are absolute ballers.

The best way to judge a recruiting class is the size of the smile (or frown) on the head coach's face at the signing day press conference. If Muschamp looks giddy at the end of the day we know we did really well.
